HARIPUR: A man died while two others were severely wounded when their vehicle fell into a ravine in the jurisdiction of Khanpur police station.
Police sources said that Khani Zaman, a resident of Taxila, had come to Khanpur along with his family to attend the funeral prayers of a relative. On their way back home, the driver lost control of the steering wheel near Choi village, and the vehicle bearing registration no. 1793 fell into a deep ravine.
As a result, Khani Zaman died on the spot, while his wife, Anwar Jan, and nephew, Babar, sustained injuries. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical care. According to the hospital sources, the condition of the injured has been said to be stable.
