Karachi: Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman has said Pakistan’s armed forces were not worried about India at all and they are ready to defend the country in face of any misadventure by the enemy.
Speaking at the 9th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS), chief of Air Staff said that “We are not worried about India at all, it is better if they show some restraint”.
The chief of Air staff He also advised India to avert efforts to destabilize peace in the region and come forward for the resolution to the Kashmir dispute. “They should speak on matters of principle and our ties will improve”, Air Chief said.
He said that the country’s armed forces are vigilant and ready to thwart any aggression by the enemy.
He said that Pakistan is preparing Super Mushak jets for Nigeria and Qatar and signed an agreement with Turkey to sell 52 Super Mushak basic trainers during IDEAS 2016 expo.
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah also visited the Expo Centre. Talking to media he said IDEAS 2016 is a big achievement, Pakistani defence products are among the best products in the world. We are professional army and ready to meet challenges of the modern world. “Our technology meets international quality and standards”, he added.
While visiting different stalls they also lauded the arrangements and talked about the technology of different companies and appreciated foreign and local companies for taking part in IDEAS 2016.
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and Punjab Governor Muhammad Rafique Rajwana also visited IDEAS 2016 and witnessed activities and appreciated the quality and technology of the equipments and defence production showcased in the exhibition.
