The Pakistan Meteorological Department has informed that hot and humid weather likely in most parts of the province.
Partly cloudy and humid with chances of light rain / drizzle in Tharparker district and coastal areas of the province today.
It said that Sukkur, Guddu, and Kotri Barrages are witnessing low-level flood but warned that Indus River at Guddu and Sukkur is expected to attain very high flood on September 4 and 5.
Moreover, the Pakistan Meteorological Department has also issued quantitative flood forecast of gauging stations (in thousands of cusecs) at 12:00 hours.
“Keeping in view above, it is requested that all concerned deputy commissioners, chairman DDMAs and other relevant authorities/ stakeholders may take all necessary mitigation measures.”
