ISLAMABAD: Very hot weather is expected in most parts of Pakistan while dust-thunderstorm/rain with strong gusty winds likely at isolated places of upper country in next 24 hours.
Very hot weather conditions would persist over plain areas of Punjab, Central and Southern Pakhtunkhwa, upper Sindh, Sibbi and Makran divisions during this time span. Whereas dust-thunderstorm/rain with strong gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Kashmir, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions and Islamabad during this time span.
Seasonal low lies over North Balochistan with its trough extending South-Eastwards. Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. In the last 24 hours, weather remained very hot and dry in most parts. On Monday, maximum temperatures recorded in Larkana, Sukkur, Bhakkar, Rahim Yar Khan, Noorpur Thal with 48 degree Celsius while 47 degree Celsius in Dadu, Sibbi, Jacobabad, Benazirabad, Bahawalnagar.
