ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday strongly condemned the killing of renowned qawwal Amjad Sabri.
In their separate messages, they prayed for salvation of the departed soul and commiserated with the bereaved family.
They also directed the departments concerned to apprehend the perpetrators of this heinous crime and bring them to book.
Amjad Sabri was shot dead in Karachi Wednesday afternoon, after unidentified assailants fired at his vehicle in the city’s Liaquatabad area.
